Having been on all of the rides we found this beautiful picnic area by the water at Alton Towers.

Then we went onto camping near Mam Tor in the Peak District; where incidentally my son thought it was great fun, frightening us to death, by pretending to fall off and down a steep slope from the top.

Nearer to home was this Canal boat on the Shireoaks lock.
