What is a RSS-feed and what does it do?

With a RSS-feed – also called „newsfeed“ – you can „subscribe“ to the contents of our blog. This way you’ll be the first to read new blog entries, even when you’re not on the website at that moment.

With this RSS-feeds the captions of new entries will automatically appear on your computer, as soon as you go on the internet. You can click on these captions, like you do on links, and will be redirected to the mentioned entry in our blog immediately.

How to subscribe to the newsfeed?

Subscribing to our blog as a RSS-feed is very easy. Simply click on the orange RSS-symbol.

In the Firefox browser you will find the RSS-symbol on the right side of the address bar, where you enter the internet address.

In the Internet Explorer IE7 the RSS-Symbol is in the top-right corner of the tool bar.

You can also click on the RSS-symbols in the right Navigation bar in our EasyBlog.

The rest is done automatically, simply follow the instructions and decide where to view the feeds.

Where can I view the news?

This is your choice: you can view the news on your start page – for instance Google – with a web-based feed-reader.

Or have the feeds shown in the integrated RSS-reader, like for instance here in Internet Explorer 7.

Or you can use so-called dynamic bookmarks – for instance in the Firefox-browser.

My browser doesn’t have a RSS-reader – where can I get one?

If you are using a browser without an „integrated“ newsreader (for instance Internet Explorer up to version 6), then you can download a newsreader to your PC. In future you can always have an overview of our blog and your other favourite websites.

How to subscribe to the EasyBlog with my newsreader?

Click on the link “RSS-Feed with a right click on your mouse or click on the RSS-symbol. Go to „Copy link-address“, click on „New channel“ (or similar) in your newsreader and paste the link into your RSS-reader.

You can also enter or copy the address directly into the newsreader:  feed:http://blog.pixum.co.uk/?feed=rss2.
