Simply visit the IrfanView website and download this free image editing programme that is available for several operating systems and supports many different file formats.
Which features does it offer?
IrfanView enables you to view, convert, scan and print your photos as well as to create slideshows or play movies and sounds. If you want to edit your photos, you can choose between resizing, rotating or sharpening as well as changing colours (like swap RGB to BRG) and contrasts or adding borders and effects (like sepia, rain drops and explosion). Apart from those features you can also convert your photos to greyscale or into a negative and reduce red-eyes. IrfanView also enables you to change the file format of your photo (e.g. TIF, PDF, JPM) as well as the aspect ratio (e.g. 3:2, 4:3 or 16:9).
